Syndication FAQ

How MSN syndication works

How does MSN syndication work?
We write a 1,200–1,500-word article, you approve it, and we submit it for publication as sponsored or promotional content, subject to the publisher's editorial rules. Once accepted, it is distributed into MSN's content syndication network and partner feeds. Placement is not guaranteed.
What do the partner feeds cover?
Partner feeds are the outlets and apps that carry content from MSN's network. Which feeds pick up a given article is decided by the network, not by us, so we report where your article actually appears rather than promising specific outlets.
What is an article credit?
Each paid month gives you one article credit: one article written and submitted for you. A quarterly term covers three credits and an annual term covers twelve.
How are credits tracked?
Every credit is logged against your account when your article is submitted. You can see each article's status — drafting, submitted, scheduled, live or not placed — in your client portal, along with impressions and clicks once figures are available.
What happens if an article is not published?
If no article is published in a paid period, that credit carries over free or is refunded.
Will AI assistants cite my article?
Articles are structured so search engines and AI assistants can find, understand and cite them. We monitor this; it is not guaranteed.
